Haha ! This is old school right here. Drawn on August 3rd, Two Thousand Freakin One.
Based off an old issue of Spectacular Spider-Man, this piece was one of my endeavours into a different style of drawing Spidey and the gang. As you guys know from my other works, my style of Spidey is more traditional ; Webhead's proportions are usually more realistic then comicish. This style has him and Scarlet Spider thinner and a little more exaggerated. Kinda Anime-ish when I look back on it now. What don't I like ? It's unpolished and it looks crappy that way. Spidey's left hand looks god awful, and his right isn't too nice either. Also, I didn't do his webbing out of fear of screwing up the whole piece. Ah well. At least I didn't forget his underarm webs. Old school. |
