Yes. Another god damned Spider-Man picture. You guys may think that Spidey is all I draw. I assure you it is not. It just so happens that my Spidey stuff comes out best.
So , somebody (me) has been studying their anatomy , and it shows. I'm surprised by the difference in my art since i learned how to properly draw and shade. However, beyond that, I've also learned more traditional art theories such as Composition, visual weight, etc. I took a class last month titled 'Design and Art Theory' and I'm much better for having taken it.
Anyway, this is my first painting ever that I did for Design and Art Theory. It's done in acrylic paints. I ran out of time , as you can obviously see, and I poured most of the time I did have into Spidey. I still would have liked to do more on his leg and his head, but doing that webbing and the spider symbol on his chest took a LOT of careful work. I plan on going back and redoing the buildings (maybe in photoshop?) , but yeah. I think it came out great considering I've never painted seriously before. I'd like some comments on this one. Even a COOL will suffice.
That is some good anatomy, there, and what really impresses me is the shading. Looks right on, especially with the buildings as a light source. The leg does look a little blotchy, but you said you ran outta time for it. Overall, fantastic, especially for a foreign art form.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
